THE BACK TO GYM ESSENTIALS
Gyms have officially reopened across Ireland and the U.K. much to the delight of many existing gym goers and new members. As we have come to adapt to a new way of living due to Covid, we may not have the same level of concern as we had last year now that more people have been vaccinated and people tend to be more cautious, but things in the gym have changed quote a bit. If you have already, or are considering returning to the gym, here are some things to consider.
1) WEARING A MASK
Each gym will have its own policy on wearing a mask while on the premises. It is generally recommended that you wear a mask while entering the building, moving around and using the toilet facilities.
2) CLEAN AS YOU GO
Most gyms will have their own sanitisation tools such as paper towels, reusable towels, and spray sanitiser. It is advised that you wipe down any tools or machines prior to using them and directly after using them.
3) SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATES
It’s a good idea to follow your gym on social media. Most gyms and health clubs have their own Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts. There, they post updates and important notices such as opening hours and gym policy.
4) SHOWER AND CHANGING FACILITIES
